Saving time

When going on a new mission, repair and equip your Hercs before you save. This will save you some time in case you lose the next mission.

Razor

The game might make you think you need to use the Razor (i.e. Razor test mission), but you can easily slip into a fast ground Herc and do the same mission on the ground.
